Thanks for visiting Neil Fordyce Photography and I hope you enjoy looking through the various galleries on my website.    Photography is my passion and has been since my school days and I feel privileged that my full time employment is also my lifetime past time (see Behind The Lens for the full story).  My photography takes me all over Scotland from the Hebrides to the Scottish Borders and sometimes beyond. I am best known as a Scottish Wedding Photographer and Portrait Photographer working in the latest 5 star hotels such as Fonab Castle to some of Scotland’s most elegant hotels such as The Atholl Palace, Dunkeld House, Carberry Tower, Solsgirth House and Balbirnie along with some of Scotland’s more unique wedding venues such as Castle Menzies, Achnagairn House, Kenmore Marina, Dundas Castle, Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle and kinkell Byre. We have started adding wedding venues from across Scotland into the wedding venues section of our website and with many more Scottish Wedding Venues to add it’s going to take us a bit of time.

From the bar above you can view some of our favourite wedding and portrait photographs or by selecting “Venues” you can see images from some of the wedding venues that we have visited. The Online viewing button will take you to the area where we display some of our recent events including portraits, family gatherings, my commercial photography jobs and wedding photographs but you may require a password to enter some of the galleries.

Over many years I have built my reputation not just for consistently producing a body of quality work which is creative, varied but more importantly meaningful but also for the way I work. I am a firm believer that “it’s your wedding, your way” and I work in a discreet manner and for many parts of the wedding day I will blend with the guests to capture story telling journalistic photographs and along with these I will set time aside for relaxed family photographs and bride and groom photography as our couples wish. Wedding details are important to many of our brides and grooms so I try to capture as many of the personal and venue details as I can along with make up and hair details too.

Wedding photography how much does it cost? That’s always the big question and I am always happy to quote for individual needs, it’s understandable that some wedding couples  won’t require as much coverage as others for their wedding and some couples will only want their images on a disc while others will want an album.  As a very rough guide I can offer coverage of your day from £995.00 but it’s always best to call for a personal quote based on your needs.
